100K Miniature Contactors
Allen-Bradley Bulletin 100-K miniature contactors are designed for commercial and light industrial applications where panel space is at a premium. These miniature devices, while 45 mm wide, are shallower and have less panel depth requirements than standard IEC contactors. The miniature contactors have been designed with flexibility in mind. They are available with AC or DC operating coils, several contact ratings. Optional 2- or 4-pole auxiliary contact blocks in a variety of auxiliary contact configurations are available separately.
Compact size
Full-voltage non-reversing and reversing contactors
Rated up to 690V
IP2X Finger Protection
Optional integrated surge suppressor
Compatible with Bulletin 193-K bimetallic overload relay
“Mirror contacts” to IEC 60947-4-1 throughout
Mechanically linked contacts to IEC 60947-5-1 on base unit
Dimensions (H)50x(W)45x(D)53mm
3 Pole plus 1 auxiliary contact
These contactors have mechanically linked performance between the main contacts and internal aux contacts, which allows status feedback if contact weld occurs. Mirror contact prevents any status condition if a NO pole welds.
Features and Benefits:
• Compact size, allowing broader application use
• Choice of full-voltage non-reversing and reversing contactors
• AC and DC have the same dimensions
• IP2X Finger Protection for improved safety
• Optional integrated surge suppressor
• Fully compatible with Bulletin 193-K bimetallic overload relay
• Mechanically linked contacts to IEC 60947-5-1 on base unit
• “Mirror contacts” to IEC 60947-4-1 throughout

Allen Bradley 3-Pole Contactor, 5A, 2.2kW – 100-K05D10
This 3-pole contactor from Rockwell Automation’s Allen Bradley range is used to perform switching functions in a variety of commercial and light industrial applications. With a power rating of 2.2kW, this component is ideally suited to high-current load devices. Its 3-pole configuration means that it can control 3 circuits at the same time, so it’s a good choice for setups with limited space. It’s also designed so its terminal points are out of reach of fingers, meaning it’s a safe and reliable option for industrial use.
• Modular design for ease of installation and ample allowance for extra accessories• Thermoplastic housing material for insulation and impact resistance• Can function with both alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) supply voltages for versatility • Forked contacts for a strong and reliable connection
Standards and Certifications
• CE (Conformité Européenne)• cULus (Underwriters Laboratory U.S and Canada)• CCC (China Compulsory Certificate)
What could cause contactor failure?
There are two main reasons why a contactor might fail. The first is that it may have become earthed through another metal component when its wiring insulation deteriorates. Another may be that it’s stuck in the open position. A physical check should be enough to detect either of these faults.
Allen Bradley MCS (Modular Control System) Contactors
A modular motor control system allowing users flexibility to design and construct an adaptable system. It has been designed to take in to account the demands and requirements of modern motors and their users; satisfying requirements up to 85AC3. A wide range of accessories are also available to cater for many diverse needs. The ease of assembly, installation and modification can bring many benefits not only those related to cost, but can reduce the number of parts which need to be held. The compact size of the component parts, bring other benefits including reduction in enclosure volume required, modern design and weight savings are also gained. By applying a modular design concept and an easy to fit ‘clip-in’ method, all add to the class leading features and benefits of the MCS system.
