SINAMICS G120 – Standard Inverter – Control Unit
SINAMICS G120 is a modular inverter system that essentially comprises two function unit: Power Module (PM) and Control Unit (CU).
The Control Unit controls and monitors the Power Module and the connected motor in several different modes. It supports communication with a local or central controller and monitoring devices.
The CU240 Control Units are suitable for a wide range of applications in general machine construction, such as conveyor belts, mixers and extruders.

This control unit from Siemens works with compatible power units from the SINAMICS G120 series to perform closed-loop control functions for an inverter. It offers a choice of control types to run and monitor both the power module and the connected motor. You can also add additional functions to give you an even wider choice of options. The device accommodates communication with either local or central control and monitoring units. It’s designed to deliver cost-effective, precision speed and torque control of AC (alternating current) motors.
